C-Suite Conversations: Productivity
12 June @ 7:00 am - 12:00 pm
The Human Resource Management Association of Trinidad and Tobago (HRMATT) will host its signature event, C-Suite Conversations, on June 12th 2024, under the theme: Productivity. In today’s fast-paced and competitive business landscape, understanding and harnessing employee productivity is not just a luxury; it is a necessity. Recognizing this, HRMATT will bring together officials from government, national and international organisations, academia, and experts on productivity and members of civil and business community, to discuss the best practices, the main findings of cutting-edge research, and on policies that impact productivity. The slowdown in productivity in the last decade is a source of concern for many in the private and public sectors. Productivity and productivity growth reflects our ability to produce more output by better combining inputs, owing to new ideas, technological innovations and business models and is therefore essential to increase living standards and offer a better life to future generations. At this edition of C-Suite Conversations, the panel will discuss the challenges for productivity of the post COVID-19 period, including the green transition, the potential re-organisation of value chains, digitalisation, and enabling conditions for productive investments. There is no question that human resources play a critical role within any company, and once operating at full potential, synchronising human resources efforts with organisational objectives and strategies, will increase productivity. It is well documented that a happy and engaged workforce is a more productive one and human resources play a key role in both, but it goes beyond just these two initiatives. As such, at this edition of C-Suite Conversations, we will also discuss some effective ways in which Human Resources can help businesses with productivity efforts. In a world where time is money, companies are realising the importance of working smarter rather than harder. When employees are highly productive, the entire company benefits. When companies are productive, the entire economy benefits. Productive employees drive innovation, meet deadlines, enhance customer satisfaction, boost profitability and leads to growth in GDP. In contrast, low productivity can lead to inefficiencies, missed opportunities, decreased morale and a reduced standard of living. With this in mind, this edition of C-Suite Conversation will provide you with the knowledge and strategies that can help you to maximise employee productivity within your organisation. Join us on June 12th 2024, from 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Hyatt Regency Trinidad, Port of Spain.
