DESCRIPTION:What is it: Album launch concert to celebrate the release of Lynchpin’s third album of the same name – This Mortal Coil. \nThe six-song album was recorded\, mixed and mastered in Montreal by Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy) \nbetween August 2023 and January 2024. It sees an evolution of the band’s sound\, with the addition of our second guitarist\, Tristan\, enabling us to write with more leads\, harmonies and melody\, expressing more of what we want to say musically. \nThe concert on July 6th is also meant to celebrate our 15-year anniversary. In that vein\, we’ll be playing songs from all our albums\, with particular focus on the new material. \nTo help us celebrate\, we’ve included some of our friends in the excellent bands; Circle Square\, Pootie and the Saltfish\, Cipher (making their debut on the night) and from Guyana\, Celestial Burn. \nThe stage visuals will also be the best we’ve ever done locally\, aiming to give patrons a larger\, international feeling when they’re watching the bands. \nWe also aim to create a festival atmosphere\, with sponsors like Monster and Mini Bar helping us to have a marketplace\, drink specials\, food and VIP crew area.  The aim is to make this one of\, if not the largest rock concert for the year\, in terms of venue and stage scale and the quality on display at every touch point.
