This unique experience seeks to get all citizens involved in the protection and rehabilitation of our environment. \nWe encourage an “all-hands-on deck” approach to assist in reducing the devastating effects of climate change\, global warming and biodiversity loss. \nThrough hiking and exploring new environments\, participants would be exposed to much-needed reforestation activities in key areas of the Northern Range (Trinidad’s largest and most important watershed) and other key areas of Trinidad and Tobago. \nThe goal of the event is to plant as many seedlings and trees as possible in areas that are most in need but usually not frequented by citizens. \nThere would be three (3) planting zones located at each location with varying degrees of intensity (easy\, moderate\, and challenging)\, to guarantee the participation of all interested persons. \nAll participants would be allowed to collect as many seedlings as possible at the assigned check-in points\, then proceed along the marked hiking route to the various planting zones. \nThis event is free to the public and we welcome the participation of individuals\, groups\, organizations and companies.\nhttps://www.facebook.com/events/956423249005370/?event_time_id=956427322338296
