DESCRIPTION:The year was 1967\, and in the Haight-Ashbury District of San Francisco\, a movement was growing. \nThe city was known as a sanctuary for those who lived outside the mainstream\, and Baby Boomers gravitated there\, like the Beat Generation or Beatniks twenty years before them\, shedding the conformist threads of society to seek out the bohemian lifestyle. \nThese artists\, musicians\, drifters\, and hippies chased the sun in Golden Gate Park\, danced to Rock n Roll and modern Jazz\, and preached anti-war and free love principles with flowers in their hair. \nTheir iconic style – bright\, bold colours\, flared jeans\, fringe tops\, headbands and slogan tees – was an emblem of the era. \nTheir music preached peace\, love and togetherness. \nIt was the Summer of Love and they were just getting started. \nOn May 27th\, GTC in collaboration with 86ix8 Family takes you on a journey to Haight-Ashbury in 1967 to experience the Summer of Love.

DESCRIPTION:This 2 in one adventure takes us exploring in the Gasparee Caves on Gaspar Grande then to Monas Island for relaxing on the beautiful stretch of gorgeous Biscayne Bay. \n  \nCost: $ 300 (adult)\, $275 (kids under 12 years)\nThis cost is inclusive of CDA tour fees\, Palance868 guide fees and the boat to and from Gasper Grande and Monos Island (2 separate islands) \nWe take the boat at Island Property Owners Association. Here\, there is a $35 per vehicle fee to park in the secured car park if you choose to park in the carpark (recommended) and not at the side of the road and an entrance fee of $20 per person over 10 years old. Patrons will be responsible for this cost which is payable to Island Property on the morning. \nA hat and/or umbrella and sunscreen highly is recommended for protection from the sun. Also\, walk with a minimum of 1 litre of water to keep hydrated in the heat. \n  \nFor proper accountability & group size control\, a booking is required for all our hikes.
