Spanish Film Night: Rojo

If you love good food and good films you can’t miss our monthly Tapas & Film events! Every month we will screen an amazing Spanish or Latin American film (with English subtitles, no worries!) and you will be able to match it with the delicious food and drinks of our in-house tapas bar The Tapas Room.

About this month’s film:
Set in the mid-70s rural Argentina, the film opens with a strange man arriving in a quiet city. Setting in a restaurant, abruptly and out of the blue, he starts shouting insulting Claudio, a renowned lawyer. Everyone around stands with the lawyer and the man is thrown out of the restaurant. Holding a grudge, later that night the man intercepts Claudio and his wife Susana. The incident takes Claudio in a danger-filled journey involving death, secrets and silences.

A pitch-black thriller with uncommon with and sophistication, Rojo tells a story as rich and evocative as the deepest shade of its title color, with award winning performances by Darío Grandinetti and Alfredo Castro.

How does this work?
The film event happens between 7pm and 9:30pm, so you can either eat and drink before the film, or after the film. Please allow yourself at least 1 hour for the meal.
And of course make sure to book your film ticket right away as this is a very popular event and it will sell out quickly!
