Raise The Bar 2023 – National Secondary School Poetry Slam Final

We’re excited to formally introduce Raise The Bar 2023 Secondary School Final!
What is Raise The Bar?
Raise The Bar (RTB) is the current name for the Secondary Schools National Poetry Slam. The competition has evolved several times since its initial launch in 2014. Over the years it evolved from an individual contest to a team contest, where teams battle over three rounds for Spoken Word supremacy.
Rounds:
Round 1- Individual (1 poet)
Round 2- Group (2 or more)
Round 3- Speed Round (1 or more) based on the theme: School Violence.
The 2022/2023 competing teams are: South East Secondary, Rio Claro West Secondary, Bon Air Secondary and Bishops High School, Tobago.
