Hike to Paragrant Bay, North Coast – Moderate Difficulty

There are many hidden beaches along the beautiful North Coast of Trinidad which spans approximately 40 miles of luxurious coastline. However 8 of those are only accessible on foot by hiking. These 8 hidden treasures lie between Paramin and Maracas. They are S’aut Deau, Paragrant, Negmawah, Peechon Cove, Cyril Bay, Lover’s Bay, Balata Bay and Maraqueet Bay. On the 28th March, Palance868 takes you to Paragrant Bay to enjoy all the exotic scenery along this gorgeous expedition. This hike can be done via trails only or as a loop which involves steep inclines along the way and a combination of forest trails, gravel and concrete roadways that boast of some of the most breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea.

When booking please provide the following:
1) A full name and cell contact (indicate age if under 18 years old)
2) Any major medical issues. This includes allergies to insect bites, asthma, heart issues, bone or muscle injuries.
3) Swimmer or non swimmer?

Rating: 4.5 (moderately challenging)
Average Duration: 2 – 2.5 hours (one way)
This adventure is not suitable for kids under the age of 7 or persons who are generally unfit or have existing joint/muscle/back injuries.

Cost : $75 (transportation not provided)
Security for vehicles: $30 per vehicle

Assembly: 6:30 am Maraval. We leave by 7 am promptly.

How to prepare?
List of recommended hiking essentials:
1. At least 2L of water
2. Juice/energy drink, snacks, sandwiches
3. Sunblock
4. Long pants/tights and loose tops are highly recommended
5. comfortable footwear, sneakers with good grips or hiking boots are a MUST! (check for any signs of it unsticking or dry rotting)
6. insect repellant
7. any medication you must take
8. A comfortable backpack leaving your hands free to help yourself or a friend
9. cell phone/camera in waterproof/ziplock bags
10. towel, change of clothing AND footwear (eg slippers) to be left in vehicle
11. Plastic bag for your wet clothes

CANCELLATION POLICY:
➖Cancellations made more than 5 days before the event are entitled to a full refund.
➖Cancellations made 5-3 days before will have 50% fee attached
➖There is a no refund policy for cancellations made less than 3 days before the event.
