Located in Diego Martin is the popular Blue Basin Waterfall. The source of the river is in Paramin called Meyah.
The hike is relatively short (approx 15mins) and the waterfall is approx 50-60ft.
Higher above Blue Basin Waterfall are 3 smaller waterfalls, White Hole, Coffin and Tsou waterfalls.
Blue Basin Waterfall is one of the most picturesque area and as you come closer to the waterfall you hear the falling water which heightens the expectations. This 40-50ft waterfall has a spectacular pool which can be enjoyed by both swimmers and non swimmers.
Although the area has been stigmatized by its high crime situation, visiting the waterfall during weekends have been a lot safer for the past few years. The constant patrolling of the area by TTPS has made it safer.
