ANANSI & THE BOOK OF NIGHT is spectacular costumed folklore theatre with interactive animation.
Adapted from the best selling novel of the same name, it is the sequel to the equally popular novel & play ANANSI & THE 10 DRAGONS.
Both plays folow the adventure of Anansi’s grandmother as a young Spider.
ANANSI & THE BOOK OF NIGHT is a detective story in which the Kingdom of Animals is beseiged by a series of diabolical crimes which threaten the very fabric of life of the Kingdom.
Anansi does not know who to trust, as she unravels layer after layer of betrayal & Evil.
Can Anansi & her allies solve the mystery before it is too late?!
The play opens at Southern Academy for the Performing Arts (SAPA) on Tuesday 9th May 2023 with 2 school performances at 8:30am & 12pm.
Students are always $100.
On Wednesday 10th May there are 2 more school performances at 8:30am & 12pm.
THE ADULT SHOW IS AT 8PM THAT NIGHT.
Adults are $200.
On Friday 12th May, the show moves to the Auditorium at the Government Campus at Richmond Street, Port of Spain with 3 school performances at 8:30am, 10:30am, & 12:30pm.

THERE WILL BE A MATINEE SHOW AT 10AM ON SATURDAY MORNING AT 10AM.
