An Afternoon of HOPE, FUN and FELLOWSHIP

Good afternoon Lupus Warriors, I am pleased to confirm that Valpark Chinese Restaurant has partnered with us to ensure that we can host our annual Christmas Luncheon this year by waiving the cost of renting their corporate private room which can seat 40 persons comfortably.

It has been a long three years since we have been able to meet each other and spend quality time sharing and encouraging each other in our respective journeys.
Valpark Chinese Restaurant has also cut the cost of its menu to make this experience not just memorable and deliciously tasteful but also affordable. The cost per person is $150.00.

Please note that Lupus patients are free to invite a relative or significant other.
The management at Valpark is also willing to allow us to bring our own desserts and even offered to bake us ham and turkey once we can get these items donated.
The Voice of Lupus Foundation is required to make a 50 percent downpayment before the date of the luncheon.

All monies MUST be collected no later than Wednesday 30th November 2022.
I have asked Dana Hinds-Allain and VLF’s Youth Ambassador Shachia Tesha Strachan to follow up with those who have expressed their commitment to attending the event and payments.

Again, please note that I MUST submit the downpayment and confirm the attendance number to the restaurant no later than Nov 30th. Payments can be made via online banking or direct deposit through The Voice of Lupus Foundation’s RBC Account number 110000001427337.

Please ensure to submit a copy of your transaction receipt to Dana Hinds-Allain or Shachia Tesha Strachan as proof of payment.
If there are patients who are unable to do the online transfer, please contact Dana or Shachia to make the necessary arrangements.

8 Door Prizes.(Can anyone assist in helping us get gift certificates, gift hampers etc)
