100 Steps Beach & Fort Abercromby Hike

💲 COST:
TT$80.00 per person.
TT$50.00 for children 12 and under (no children under the age of 5/children who cannot walk on their own are allowed nor elderly persons who are not physically active)
– PLEASE NOTE that there is an additional $20.00 parking fee per vehicle
Please note that our hikes DO NOT include transportation. Everyone has to drive in their personal vehicles as a group following our hike leader’s vehicles.

🌟DESCRIPTION:
Join us as we undertake this easy hike to 100 Steps Beach. This beach is tucked away along the north coast just after Las Cuevas.

Rating – EASY
🕒Duration – 5 mins one way This is an easy hike depending on one’s fitness.
🕒Hiking start time(upon arrival at the start of the hike, park our vehicles and begin walking on the trail) – 8:40am
🕒Time spent at beach- approximately 2 hours
🕒Return time at vehicles – 12-1pm
⛰Terrain – The walk to the beach will take about 5 mins downhill. There will be an area where persons have to use a short rope where they will be aided by our hike leaders.

❗PLEASE NOTE: The above times are proposed times and are not a strict schedule. The times may changed based on various factors for example based on the fitness/speed of the hikers on that day/if the weather is rainy, the time spent by the beach may be cut short based on a collective decision/if the weather is sunny we may stay longer based on a collective decision. For a more accurate description please contact us.

📞REGISTRATION:
For safety reasons due to group size we ask that all persons contact us to register. To register, you can whatsapp or inbox us on facebook, you must send the AMOUNT of persons that will be attending and 1 contact number.

We require a contact number so that in the event that we cancel a hike, all persons can be properly notified. If you are a first time hiker can you indicate this as well as if you have any serious medical issues/injuries/recent surgeries. (Please note that persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian).

✍CHECKLIST:
Are you a first time hiker? Here is checklist to prepare for our hikes:
-Bottled water
-Food/Snacks
-A change of clothing for when you return that will be left in you vehicles
-Plastic bags for wet clothes
-Walk with a backpack that ensures all items you bring can fit. Your hands should be free throughout the hike to help you navigate the terrain
-Shoes are required, no slippers or sandals
-Insect repellent
-Walk with any necessary medication
